One more reason for insomnia
We just moved into a new home, and I am surrounded by the boxes, bags, and various other sundry items that were delivered -- and mostly put in place -- by our moving company.  They did a good job, don't get me wrong.  Nothing was broken, the movers were friendly and helpful, and they were even happy to help position our big things, like the sectional sofa, and my teak office desk.  A+ work, for sure.

Unfortunately, this just doesn't feel like home yet.  My wife still needs to finish unpacking the boxes of hers that were so carefully piled by our movers in the kitchen, dining room, and bedroom, and I am surrounded in my office by box after box of supplies.  I don't know where to start, and I don't want to just pick a box and start digging since I don't want to have to redo everything once it's done.

Stupid things are keeping me up at night, like trying to figure out the best wall for the golf picture my dad gave me, or the perfect spot for the computer tower.  I know it doesn't matter but I must be a bit OCD because I sure can't get myself to stop thinking about all this nonsense.  Of course, my wife lays there snoring every night and my kids are sound asleep in their totally messy rooms, not concerned at all where their toys are or where they might end up placing their Barbie dolls.  I am so ridiculous.

All I know is once we get settled, there will be no more relocation for this family.  I'll happily die in this house.
